My healing journey began when my body said enough.
Living with POTS and going through neck and back fusion surgeries made pushing through unsustainable. Rest became necessary — and ignoring my body was no longer an option.
The turning point reshaped how I support others today: helping people to listen sooner and move forward without force.
When My Body Forced Me to Listen
For most of my life, I thought I was “just” a people pleaser. What I learned changed everything.
It wasn’t my personality — it was my coping mechanism. I used it to stay safe, avoid conflict, and manage stress.
My nervous system was in survival mode, and my health paid the price.
Many people don’t realize they’re living this pattern until their body starts keeping the score.
People Pleasing Wasn’t Who I Was
Boundaries Became My Healing
Healing began when I learned to regulate my nervous system and reconnect with myself.
Boundaries weren’t walls.
They were self-respect.
I learned to listen to my body, say no without guilt, and choose myself with confidence.
As I did:
My body softened.
My mind quieted.
My life shifted.
I realized something important: my patterns weren’t flaws. They were survival. I wasn’t broken. I was coping.
This is the work I now guide others through—helping them feel safe in their bodies, grounded in their choices, and empowered to live differently.
This is how healing becomes sustainable not forced.
